Abhisit on duty free and airport security

According to Matichon, Abhisit was recording his weekly public address program at Suvanabhumi airport and address the duty free issues. One of his suggestions (responding to “shop-lifting”) was to put clear warning “please pay here” and “no good beyond this area”signs.

I hope that apart from his comment for the police in sub-stations, providing translators to tourist, he would clearly order an investigation what had happened and why after the “arrest and hand over to the police,” tourists were “detained” in hotel rooms instead of a proper airport security center or a police station. Translators should be available also when anyone who cannot speak Thai is escorted to a police station.

Warning signs are not even the tip of an iceberg. Oh, may I complain about luggage delivery system and restrooms?

Bangkok Post reported earlier on the trip. The regular address by PM Abhisit is aired on Sunday.
