Pettai Wongkamlao or famous Mam Jokmok comedian, decided to change his almost red shirts to something else, before he was given a black polo shirt from a police officer as red shirts was overexcited and wanted to take photos with him during a police station visit of taxi radio leader, which happened in the same day.

สิ้นเสียงประกาศการยกเลิกพรก.ฉุกเฉิน สามแกนนำ “เสื้อแดง” ที่ยังเหลืออยู่ในประเทศไทย ประกาศรวมกลุ่มที่เดิม ณ ท้องสนามหลวง ได้อ่านข่าวนี้อยู่ต่างจังหวัด มีโทรศัพท์จากคนที่เคยไปเดิน เล่นๆ แถบสนามหลวงมาสองสามครั้ง ตัดสินใจว่าจะบอกว่า ถ้ามีแกนนำอย่างนี้ ไม่ไป เวลาที่ผ่านมากว่าสองอาทิตย์ แกนนำหายไปเป็นโอกาสที่พลังของประชาชนได้ออกมาแสดงบทบาท อย่างเต็มประสิทธิภาพ แน่นอน การมีแกนนำย่อมมีประโยชน์ในการต่อรอง ควบคุมทิศทาง และการเคลื่อนไหวของประชาชนที่เหลือ โดยการสร้างฉันทามติ จากการถามว่า “ไปไหม พี่น้อง” “ยึดไหม พี่น้อง” พี่น้องก็ตบตีน ตบมือ เป่าแตรแดงแทนการตอบรับ เท่านั้น ขบวนก็จะเคลื่อนไปตาม เจตจำนงของประชาชน และแกนนำ โดยมิพักต้องถามว่าเจตจำนงใครเป็นของใคร ใครสำคัญกว่า ใคร แน่นอน การเหมาเอาว่าเจตจำนงของแกนนำคือการ “รับใช้ทักษิณ” ตามใบสั่ง และน้ำเลี้ยง เป็นเรื่องผิวเผิน สำหรับ อดีตนักการเมืองที่ร่วมสนับสนุน การล้มระบอบที่จะมาตามล่าล้างตัวเอง และเรื่อง การนิรโทษกรรมนักการเมืองที่ถูกตัดสิทธิ์ห้าปี เป็นผลประโยชน์โดยตรงที่เขาจะได้รับ หากการชุมนุมเรียกร้อง เป็นผลสำเร็จ การสร้างความไม่ชอบธรรมให้กับกระบวนการตามล้างตามเช็ด หลังรัฐประหาร มิใช่เป็นไปเพื่อทักษิณ เช่นเดียวกับการดำเนินการของรัฐบาล ก็มิได้เป็นไปเพื่อ ความมั่นคงของชาติ โดยปราศจากความมั่นคงของพรรค และคนหลายคนที่มีผลประโยชน์กับการเป็น “นายกตัวจริง” ซึ่งเป็นผู้พากษ์บทให้นายกหน้าตาดี ที่ดูเหมือนจะเป็นหัวหน้าตัวเองนั่นเอง
ในพื้นที่สีแดงหรือสีเหลืองก็ตาม ปฏิบัติการทางจิตวิทยาต่อประชาชน โดยแกนนำ หรือโดย เจ้าหน้าที่รัฐ บีบให้ทางเลือกของประชาชน และกิจกรรมต่างๆ ที่สามารถดำเนินการได้ระหว่างปฏิบัติ การทางจิตวิทยาเเละการจัดการมวลชน เป็นไปอย่างจำกัด ต่างจากการชุมนุมเสรี แนวราบ ที่เกิดขึ้น เมื่ออาทิตยก่อน ซึ่งมีความหลากหลายของมวลชน ทั้งผู้ที่เห็นด้วย และไม่เห็นด้วย ทุกคนมีพื้นที่ในการ พูดและเเสดงความคิดเห็นเท่าๆ กัน บนพื้นที่สนามหลวง วงไหนน่าสนใจ จำนวนผู้ฟังรอบๆ วงนั้นจะเป็นผู้ตัดสิน ใครไม่ชอบใจก็โต้แย้งเเสดงเหตผล หรือเดินออกมาก็ได้ จะกลับเมื่อใดก็กลับ ไม่ต้องรอการประกาศสลายการชุมนุม เลิกเวที หรือรอฟังข่าวที่มีผลทางจิตวิทยา เช่น มีการดักตีคน เสื้อแดงที่นางเลิ้ง ทางหนึ่ง เป็นผลดีต่อการขู่ให้คนที่ราคาต้องจ่ายสูง เร่งรีบถอดเสื้อแดงเสียโดยไว เป็นการบังคับสลายการชุมนุมทางอ้อม อีกทางหนึ่ง คนที่อยากจะกลับ ก็อาจลังเล และไม่แน่ใจ สถานการณ์ เลือกเกาะกลุ่มอยู่ เพื่อความปลอดภัย “การชุมนุม” จึงได้ประโยชน์ทางอ้อม ในการเก็บกักมวลชนจำนวนหนึ่งที่เห็นว่ากลับไปก็โดนตี ไว้ในพื้นที่ “ปลอดภัย”
การมีประชาชน ที่เต็มใจมาเป็นหน่วยนับแสดงเจตจำนงทางการเมือง เป็นการเเสดงออก ทางประชาธิปไตยโดยตรงอย่างยิ่ง หนึ่งคนมีหนึ่งเสียง สามแสนหกพันเเปดร้อยสิบเจ็ดคน บวกรถแดง ที่ปิดถนนเชียงใหม่อีกสองพัน บวกปิดศาลากลาง เกือบทั่วประเทศมีกี่เสียง ลองไปคิดกันเอาเอง ในอนาคต เราอาจจัดให้มีบัตร ประท้วง หรือบัตรลงประชามติ หากไม่เห็นด้วยให้นำบัตรไปลงทะเบียน เพื่อทราบว่ามีกี่เสียง ใครเป็นเสียงส่วนมาก ใครเป็นเสียงส่วนน้อย เพื่อจะได้ไม่ต้องมานั่งทนร้อน ทนฝนหน้าทำเนียบ
ในเมื่อต่างฝ่ายต่างเห็นว่าประชาชน และ “ประชาธิปไตย” และ/หรือ ความ “มั่นคง” ของชาติ เกี่ยวเนื่องกับผลประโยชน์โดยตรง และทางอ้อมของตน ก็ให้รู้สึกเบื่อหน่ายกับการเมืองที่ “จำเป็น” ต้องมีแกนนำอีกครั้ง และอีกหลายๆ ครั้ง ไม่ว่าจะพรรคไหน คนพวกนี้มีอำนาจเพียงพอที่จะเรียกร้อง ความชอบธรรมให้ตนเอง มีความสามรถที่จะเจรจาเปลี่ยนขั้วทางการเมืองได้ โดยไม่ต้องอาศัย ประชาชนมาเป็นหน่วยนับเพื่อการต่อรอง
ประชาชนที่เดินทางมาเพราะชอบพรรคการเมืองหรืออุดมการณ์ทางการเมือง ต้องการมาช่วย พรรคการเมืองที่ถูก “รังแก” ต้องการมาปกป้องอะไรบางอย่าง ซึ่งเป็นจุดขายหลัก ก็ไม่มีที่ทาง ในการแสดงออกมากกว่านี้ จะให้จัดตั้งเรียกร้อง ล่ารายชื่อ ตามกฎหมายรัฐธรรมนูญ ก็ยุ่งยาก และสุดท้าย ทุกอย่างก็กลับเข้าสู่กระบวนการ “รัฐสภา” หรือเข้าสู่พื้นที่การต่อรองผลประโยชน์ของ นักการเมืองที่ประชาชนไม่ค่อยจะมีส่วนเกี่ยวข้อง
ม็อบเล็กม็อบน้อย ที่ต่อสู้เรื่องปากท้อง ที่ทำกิน สิ่งเเวดล้อม ป่าชุมชน ท่อก๊าซ นมโคราคาตก อาจพลอยติดภาพลบจากการชุมนุมแบบอภิมหาม็อบของสองสี ที่ประกอบด้วย คนหลักแสน อภิมหาอุดมการณ์ เมกะโปรเจ็ค เพื่อชาติ เพื่อประชาธิปไตย เพื่อสถาบัน ฯลฯ มาก่อน ปากท้อง หรือเงินในกระเป๋า จะทยอยตามมา หลังจากประชาธิปไตย หรือ หลังจากบ้านเมืองสงบเรียบร้อย บางกลุ่มก็เลย ต้องสลายม็อบตัวเองมาร่วมกับม็อบใหญ่ ร่วมตบมือ ตบตีนไปวันๆ และหวังว่า เมื่อเป้าประสงค์ของอภิม็อบบรรลุแล้ว ปัญหาของตนจะได้รับการแก้ไขโดยอัตโนมัติ การประท้วง จับจองถนนสายสำคัญแบบมาราธอน ทุกวันนี้ พื้นที่ต่างๆ ในกรุงเทพฯ ไม่เหลือที่ว่างให้พวกเขา มากเท่าใดนัก ทั้งในด้านพื้นที่เชิงสัญญะ พื้นที่กายภาพ และ พื้นที่ของสื่อ

Matichon tracked a man who was photographed while pulling a red shirt woman by her hair and drag her down the road on 13 April.
The blog post has been removed from personal blog but matichon still maintained his statement that he did not felt sorry doing that and he agreed the there will be people who approved or disapproved his behaviour, either because it is not right to treat a woman that way or they are red shirt supporters.
He further explained that he would not apologize or feel sorry for the woman being treated that way, and ready to face charge. He voiced his conviction that the matter would be manipulated by red shirts to benefit certain group of people.
The matter of the two people was over shadowed about “the” institutions, Thaksin, red or yellow. Conflict between people reflecting conflicting ideologies, wasn’t it? We were made to be color blind. The other color are enemies. The enemy is meant to be humiliated and eliminated.
The threat of destruction of trusted institutions, public orders, violence, terrorism, fear of going down the J curve, tourism industry’s anxiety, are like swine flu, some gave up critical thoughts, seeking alternative facts, looking at other angles, seeing things beyond colors. The fear of social brake down has be successfully re/produced by the government. This is just an example of promoting hatred and fear of lefties. The government is and is to be responsible for a part of counter-red shirt with violence and cultivate distrust in the society.
Reds attacked yellows or yellows attacked reds are entirely relative and depend on reporting angles. from the point you stand and aim a camera. yes this man attacked a red shirt woman. and yes, well, “red shirts” burned buses. and yes, there were sound of gunfire and smell of explosive materials in the air that I breathed. There should be investigations, but given so much mistrust in this community, it would be very post modern. truth is relative and multiple.
If you are urged to see both side of the coin, why not expand an investigation to a narrow, endless round metal strip that connect both sides of the same coin together.Perhaps it could prevent some violence from color blindness in this political community.
after all, losing an ability to see that a person confronting you is a fellow human being because of her color, is what we need for the next apartheid or concentration camps. And most of the time, victims were used politically, rather than being healed.

The onus rests on Mr. Abhisit and his backers. The elite must stand aside and let the power of the ballot carry the day. We need to discard the undemocratic provisions of the 2007 Constitution and replace them with elements of its popularly drafted 1997 precursor. We need a fully elected legislature, courts that can make impartial decisions on election outcomes and independent watchdog agencies.

No red shirts, no flags, no accessories and it did not matter for 3-500 people gathering for heat politic debates in Sanam Luang, with out leaders, video link or a proper podium. Anyone can brought up a discussion, mostly about the previous topics in the red shirts gathering and update about Thaksin, protesters leaders in detention and the future of Thai democracy.
Plenty of food and drink can be found as reasonable as 10 Baht/ dish. There was a foot massage stand, second hand stuffs around Sanam Luang ground. Milk Ice-cream is spectacular. No foreign press yet. I do not know if Thai press will report in disguise.

Imagine what one could do when you are a multi billionaire and multiple access to multiple passports.
Former Thailand prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra has revealed that he plans to spend some of the proceeds from his sale of Manchester City Football Club to set up a telecoms company in Dubai.
Thaksin, who made millions from telecommunications before entering politics, said he wants to establish a telecommunications consulting business in one of the emirate’s many free economic zones, Reuters reported in the UK.
Thaksin’s considerable assets have been frozen in Thailand. He said he would leave Dubai soon, having stayed in the desert emirate for over a month already, travelling on a Nicaraguan diplomatic passport./ Arabian Business
Contrary, if you are an average Thai, living just above poverty line, one maybe able to escape somewhere within the country silently but one must not make too much claim of “human rights.”

After the messy Songkran, Thaksin proposed (Via BBC)
Speaking from Dubai, Mr Thaksin told the broadcaster France 24 that only King Bhumipol could mediate an end to the crisis.
“He is the only person that can intervene in this incident, otherwise the violence will become wider and also the confrontation would be more and more,” he said.
Umm, according to his strong faith in “the people,” I think that he would be the last person to say that. No need to confirm his loyalty in the public script, because it could be otherwise turned again him.
Is he another supporter of the not-so-ready-for-democracy-Thais scheme? I doubted it. He shouldn’t be, shouldn’t he?
Was he dreaming of Black May? and the two Octobers?
Honestly, I would not feel vogue if he has said, “Abhisit is the only person to end this conflict. His house dissolution will prevent bloodshed.”

I got several calls from concerned people about people in the red crowd, that were not wearing red and would like to leave the government building and near by areas. According to telephone conversation, people could not leave the compounds, they were surrounded by armed officers who told them that they must stay here or risk being attack from anti- protesters people waiting around the area.
Could it be possible that some one will pick up the hint and follow up on the condition of the protesters at the government’s building where, according to the call, are women and the elderly, who did not join any activities outside.
My source has been trying to leave since the last hour and a half and could not negotiate with the officers at the scene.

I like this op-ed from NYT “What Shirt for Thailand?”
8.40pm: Red-shirted protesters entered Nang Lerng Market Monday evening and pushed the vendors outside. PM’s Office Minister Satit Wongnongtoey tells NBT channel that three are injured and one guy named Pom aged 54 years old dies at the hospital after being shot by redshirted protesters, according to eye-witnesses who phoned Satit.
