After munching snacks. PADs now took the parliament. The police actually allow then to march in on the condition that they must not destroy public properties and must not use violence [PADs media said]. Good that I don’t have to go near Uni today.
The station added that traffic on roads around Parliament were paralysed because of the demonstration.
but they are coming to ministry of finance. however i stocked lunch and dinner …
Suriyasai planned an extension of Parliament siege to Friday to until the session expires. Well I don’t think people could put up with extensive traffic congestion and long days and night in a rally, which was promised to end soon when the evening would fall.
Such extension was largely practiced by Thai soaps and PADs. Probably I will drive people who want to participate to come another day or in the evening.
PADS badly need a drama and according the last several weeks they can create one. The success of 7th of October was not the fact that they can mobilized people to the parliament, but the aftershock of “police brutality” and that many people, even though they dislike PADs or are neutral, have to agree that the government should be responsible for excessive use of force, either because they think the government should not try to cause harm or they saw photos, video clips and PADs’ giveaway flyers. Thus increasing the human rights tarnish to the government and the police.
But we still have war on drugs II and flood, which is a major problem in the south and other provinces. These news are almost totally obliterated by this rally.
