In short, you don’t have to take any side or take this side. The official Bangkok Peace Zone as been established. Participants received training from Naree Chareonpolpiriya, peace activist.
At Thammasat, a group of scholar proposed “Santi-Prachadhamma,” as the Nation reported:
A newly-created group of scholars for peaceful politics, “Santi-Prachadhamma Network”, yesterday launched a campaign saying “no one can be above the law and the country has to be restored to normalcy”.
The group urged the government to lift emergency rule and the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) leaders to respect the country’s rule of law. The group also called on impartial citizens to break their silence and join them to help resolve the political crisis.
Today, a group of people also set up a petition counter for those who would like to use the constitutional mechanism to ask Samak to resign.
But we should get over the resign or stay. As an impartial observer, I started to get bored and the parliament politic is such a chaotic, ruthless, groundless and useless, yet still we need a parliament to house elected representatives. Then we have bipolar proposals:resign/stay; PADs/Samak; good/corrupted… it is too slow to come up with a win-win solution, Let’s lose equally.
By the way, I think both Samak and PADs will secretly said “I/We are the law.”
